JOBS, INTERNSHIPS, EXTERNSHIPS

Our Evanston Scholars Job Board is continuously updated with internship, job and early career opportunities from our organizational partners

MICRO-INTERNSHIPS

Micro-internships are short term, paid, project-based remote assignments that help you gain professional experience and build transferrable skills. Evanston Scholars has partnered with Parker Dewey, a mission-orientated organization that helps connect highly motivated college students with great companies. By taking 10 minutes to create a profile, you can find opportunities now. Learn more here.

CAMPUS RESOURCES

1) Visit your college’s Career Services Office.
  • Talk with an advisor about what you would like to do and ASK for their help.
  • Search their Job Postings at least once a week (they are always getting new requests from potential employers and alumni.)
  • Talk with professors about what you are hoping to do and ask if they’d refer you for a position or provide you with a research opportunity.
2) Find out from the Career Center or from your school or college when job fairs are taking place. Make it your goal to attend at least one job fair per semester/trimester.

  • Further explain other aspects of your resume (if needed, and relate to where you are applying)
